Our services are advisory in nature. IBC Solutions provides strategic guidance, analysis, regulatory insight, and recommendations. Clients retain full responsibility for any business, financial, legal, or regulatory decisions made in reliance on our advice. Our services do not constitute legal advice, and we are not a law firm.
3.3 Regulatory and Compliance Advisory
Where we provide regulatory or compliance advisory services, including in relation to trade finance, anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, or international trade regulations, such advice is general in nature and based on information available at the time of delivery. Regulations change frequently, and clients should seek ongoing independent legal and regulatory counsel.
3.4 Fees and Payment
Fees for services are set out in the applicable engagement letter. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. IBC Solutions reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of 1.5% per month (or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law, whichever is lower).
4. Confidentiality
Both parties acknowledge that in the course of an engagement, each may disclose confidential information to the other. Each party agrees to keep such information confidential and to use it only for the purposes of the engagement. This obligation does not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law or regulation.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- IBC Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the Website or our services
- Our total cumulative liability arising out of or in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim
